Tris-HCl 1M
Mix 121.1 g of Tris base in 800 ml of <chem>H2O</chem>. Adjust the pH to the desired value by adding concentrated HCl.

Allow the solution to cool to room temperature before making final pH adjustments. Fill to 1 litre with <chem>H2O</chem>. Dispense into aliquots and autoclave to sterilise.
