I'm an Irish scientist working at a digital healthcare start-up, in Stockholm, Sweden.
I am a driven, enthusiastic person with a high motivation to always do my best.
After my Ph.D. on disease mechanisms in premature ageing at KI, I did a postdoc on the stem cell niche.
This split into working on the branching morphogenesis of the mammary gland, which branched out
into quitting my post-doc in '19 to start a deep-tech company using VR for
mental health treatments.
It's a long story...
English is my mother-tongue, I speak Swedish fluently, have good German, and know beagán beag
Gaeilge. When not researching, I enjoy Brazilian ju-jitsu, climbing, skiing, photography and
microscopy. These days I'm learning a little React, a little Swift, a little Unity, a little Blender.
